Become a Winter Texan at Lazy L&L Campground and avoid the snowbird crowds in Florida and South Texas. We are in Central Texas, strategically located between San Antonio, Austin, and Boerne in a scenic Texas Hill Country setting along the Guadalupe River. We are minutes from historic Gruene (shopping/restaurants) and Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in Texas); 10 miles from New Braunfels (oldest bakery in Texas and lots of antique shops), 20 miles from San Marcos (largest outlet mall in Central Texas), and approximately 30
miles from San Antonio. Our closest golf course is only 12 minutes away.
One of the best things about our area is that it is beautiful. The winding road along the river into New Braunfels, the lovely live oak trees, the surrounding hills, and the small towns in the immediate area make it quite enjoyable. The live oaks don’t lose their leaves in the winter, so there is plenty of greenery throughout the winter to enjoy.
We are a family owned and managed campground tucked into the scenic hill country. Come and share our sunsets and bright starlit nights with us. Build a campfire, sit under the stars, enjoy the moonlight and star gazing … there are no street lights or busy highways/intersections to interfere with your new relaxed campsite. Take a walk to our Devil’s Playground Whitewater Rapids or wet a hook to catch your trout dinner! Visit our new Recreation Hall with kitchen facilities, pool table, shuffleboard, satellite TV, and plenty of room to mingle, play cards/dominoes, or socialize with our growing population. Enjoy our monthly potluck suppers, social events, and/or rallies. Sharing your winter with us doesn’t make you a guest … it makes you family! Event Calendar
